This site has important information you'll need to make your transition to Salve as seamless as possible. We'll update it often, so bookmark this page and check back regularly.

Network Credentials and Email

You will receive your network username and password via email from the Office of Information Technology. Once you have these credentials, you can access your Salve email and complete important pre-arrival tasks like housing registration, health forms, placement exams and more.

  • Credentials will be released April 8 for students who deposit by April 6.
  • Credentials will be released May 6 for students who deposit between April 7 and May 4.
  • Students who deposit after May 4 will receive their credentials 2-3 business days after their deposit date.

The salve.edu email account is our official method of communication, and you are responsible for all messages sent to this account. You should check your salve.edu email frequently throughout the summer and during the academic year for important updates.

Important Dates and Deadlines

May 11: Housing agreements open. The housing agreement and questionnaire provides the Office of Residence Life with the information necessary to assign students a roommate and residence hall room. Housing agreements must be submitted by June 12.

May 15: Deadline to complete financial aid verification paperwork. Students and families selected for verification will be notified by the Office of Financial Aid.

May 15: Deadline for students accepting the federal loans offered in their financial aid award to complete master promissory notes and entrance counseling.

Month of June: Recommended timeframe for students with documented disabilities to submit requests for academic accommodations to Student Accessibility Services.

June 1: Preferred deadline to submit requests for housing accommodations to Student Accessibility Services. Housing accommodations are provided on a case-by-case basis due to documented disabilities and medical conditions.

June 12: Deadline to submit the housing agreement to Residence Life. The housing agreement and questionnaire is available in the My Housing portal.

June 15: Deadline to submit completed health records. Students who do not complete their health record will be unable to register for spring 2027 courses until the record is received.

Mid-June: Estimated bills released. The estimated bill for the fall semester allows time to enroll in the six-month payment plan. Final bills are released once students have registered for courses and received their housing assignments, usually in late July.

June 30: Deadline to have an advising and registration meeting with the Compass advising team. Students need to complete the TracCloud "Success Plan" module prior to this meeting. Visit the fall course registration page for more information.

June 30: Deadline to apply for Service Plunge, a challenging and fun opportunity to lead and learn through service.

Beginning in July: The Office of the Registrar receives Advanced Placement (AP) scores for students who designated Salve on their exams. Exam results and transfer credit may require students to adjust their fall schedules.

July 8: Summer Business Day for incoming students and families. Discover campus resources, connect with peers, gain insights into the financial aid and billing procedures, and engage with key individuals to explore financing options for your educational path.

July 15: Deadline to submit an official high school transcript to the Office of Admissions. Transcripts must include graduation date and final semester grades. College transcripts with final grades for dual enrollment courses and AP or IB score reports can also be submitted at this time.

Mid-July: Housing assignments announced. Instructions for accessing housing assignments will be sent via email.

Aug. 1: Deadline to pay the fall semester tuition bill. Late fees will apply after this date. Visit the Bursar's Office website for more information.

Aug. 1: Deadline to waive participation in the University’s health insurance plan. Only students who are enrolled in a comparable plan may waive coverage. Learn more and waive coverage at universityhealthplans.com.

Beginning in mid-August: Students participating in fall sports arrive on campus for preseason. Move-in dates are sport-specific and student-athletes will receive more information from their coaches.

Aug. 31: Deadline to submit emergency and missing person contact information.

Sept. 1: Move-in day for international students and U.S. citizens living abroad (if invited by their counselor to attend). These students should complete the travel itinerary form by Aug. 10.

Sept. 5: Move-in day for the Class of 2030. Students will report directly to their assigned residence hall for check-in.

Sept. 5-9: New Seahawk Orientation for incoming students. This engaging program is designed to help new students meet people, learn about Salve and its campus and prepare for a successful college career.

Summer Business Day: Wednesday, July 8

Our Summer Business Day is your chance to get ahead and feel confident about your first year. This optional event is designed to help you and your family connect with key campus services, ask important questions and ensure a smooth transition before move-in day - so you can focus on making memories, not stressing over paperwork.

  • 9-11:30 a.m. — Presentations in the Antone Academic Center's DiStefano Lecture Hall
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — Lunch in the Miley dining hall
  • Noon to 2 p.m. — Office fair in the Miley Hall garden level

Student Employment

If you're interested in working on campus, you can bring your employment eligibility documents to Summer Business Day. Please note that on-campus employment opportunities are limited, and preference is typically given to students who are eligible for federal work-study.
