Our 80-acre landscape is truly one of a kind, offering what the National Trust for Historic Preservation has described as a "tour of the great architectural works of the Gilded Age." Set on seven neighboring estates, our campus features more than 20 historic buildings that have been thoughtfully adapted to meet modern needs while also preserving their status as treasures of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Salve's arboretum preserves the natural and historic resources of our campus and provides a living, learning environment that enhances our educational mission. In recognition of our ongoing efforts to preserve and protect our 1,200 trees of more than 100 different species, Salve's campus has been recognized as a Level II arboretum by the Morton Arboretum.
