Our broad-based curriculum, accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education, explores the emerging global market and the competitive forces shaping the future of the U.S. and international business environments.
Building on the University's liberal arts tradition and mercy mission, we offer a broad range of programs designed to develop critical and analytical thinking, ethical decision-making skills and an understanding of personal accountability. Using a combination of academic and practical experience, our approachable faculty prepare students for a wide variety of opportunities in business.
Center for Business Outreach
For more than a decade, the Center for Business Outreach has created experiential learning and networking opportunities for our business and economics majors that enhance the foundational skills needed for an ever-changing world and prepare them for successful careers.
Mission
The Jean and David W. Wallace Department of Business and Economics supports the mission of Salve Regina University, a Catholic institution founded by the Sisters of Mercy, to promote universal justice and to prepare men and women for responsible lives through the study of liberal arts and professional programs.

Accreditation
The Jean and David W. Wallace Department of Business and Economics at Salve Regina University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), located at 11960 Quivira Road in Overland Park, Kansas. A member with accredited programs has successfully completed the IACBE accreditation process, achieving IACBE specialized accreditation for one or more business-related programs, and has affirmed its continued commitment to excellence in business education. The specialized accreditation granted by the IACBE is specific to the programs granted accreditation - this does not include any accreditation/approval of the overall institution or any of its business units.
