What's My Why?
I have been a dedicated behavior analyst for 29 years and have been fortunate to hold executive-level leadership roles across academic, research and practice settings. I currently own and operate an ABA company that provides more than 100,000 direct service hours each year. As an organizational leader for hundreds of employees, I am continually reminded of the value of meaningful mentorship. The most influential people in my career were my professors, and my reason for continuing to teach is to honor them by offering that same mentorship to others. I am also just a passionate behavior analytic “geek” committed to alleviating human suffering, improving quality of life and protecting against a divide between science and practice.
Professional Experience
In 2015, I co-founded the Center for Applied Behavior Analysis (CABA), a family owned and operated company supporting individuals of all ages throughout California across home, center, school and community living settings. Prior to launching CABA, I served as a director of research and development, chief development officer and chief clinical officer (separate entities) maintaining primary responsibility for improving best practices across a combined 30 international office locations and was also the founding department chair for what is now one of the largest ABA graduate training programs in the world. In addition to CABA and Salve, I am also on the board of directors for the Council for Autism Service Providers and a scientific council member for the Organization for Autism Research.
