Department of Psychology
The Department of Psychology explores multifaceted issues that shed light on the full human experience, including emotional and intellectual growth, development throughout the life cycle, social influences on behavior, mental health challenges, human cognition, behavior measurement, biological factors, motivational forces, optimal human functioning and what makes humans unique.
Psychology helps students better understand themselves, grow from the experience and develop a healthy respect for others.
Our undergraduate psychology program allows students to customize their coursework to their individual interests, talents and passions. Our graduate programs in behavior analysis provide the coursework, research mentorship and supervised clinical work necessary to help students build a well-rounded skill set in the field.
We also offer an accelerated program that allows qualified Salve Regina undergraduates to begin a master’s degree in behavior analysis or clinical counseling during their senior (fourth) year.
