What's My Why?

The foundation of my work involves supporting students and clients to learn, grow and embody the fullest versions of themselves. It's an honor to use my role as a counselor and professor to help folks from all walks of life navigate complex personal, interpersonal and societal systems while finding meaning and resilience in the face of life's challenges. I spend my time in the classroom and in the community working for a society that supports the mental health of all folks in our communities, especially those who experience systemic barriers to their success.

Professional Experience

In addition to my role as a professor at Salve, I work in the community as a licensed clinical mental health counselor (MHC-01503). I have been counseling since 2015, and I enjoy working with folks who have a wide range of mental health conditions and life experiences.
