Explore Our Programs

Our program integrates exceptional counselor education and training with an approach that looks at mental health from a systemic, holistic and justice-centered perspective. We offer specializations in clinical rehabilitation counseling and holistic clinical mental health counseling - both of which provide the knowledge and skills needed for professional practice in a variety of settings.

Clinical counseling program

Our program is designed for professionals who have a master's degree in counseling that is fewer than the 60 credits required to sit for mental health counselor licensure exams in Rhode Island and many other states. Working closely with a program director, you'll craft an individual degree plan based on your past coursework and academic needs.

Clinical mental health program

Our program is designed for students who hold a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling or a related field and are interested in pursuing state licensure as a mental health counselor.

Clinical mental health program

Our program inspires positive transformation through the arts and creative expression. We train counselors, therapists, social workers, educators, artists, wellness practitioners and workshop leaders to integrate the expressive and creative arts with the helping professions.
