Salve Regina University's expressive and creative arts training program is designed to inspire positive transformation in individuals and groups through creative expression. Using a multi-modal and inter-modal approach to the arts, the program integrates visual arts, movement, sound, theater and expressive writing.

Five courses with an average time to complete of 1-2 years
Our low-residency format honors the demands on your time. Courses are offered in an innovative hybrid model that combines weekend immersion workshops with independent study modules to further assimilate learning and practice.

Using a holistic and multi-modal approach, this vibrant program integrates the expressive and creative arts with the helping professions, emphasizing research and practice to give you a more complete toolbox to guide and inspire others.
To create synergistic dual training in expressive arts therapy and clinical mental health counseling, you may co-enroll in one of our graduate programs in counseling. Students with a bachelor's degree pursue the certificate of graduate studies, while students with a master's degree and students who are co-enrolled in one of our master's degree programs pursue the certificate of advanced graduate studies.
