Salve students perform “Jane Eyre” on Broadway
Preparation and professionalism pay off with a once-in-a-lifetime New York City experience.
On Feb. 15, 25 students from Salve Regina University’s theatre arts program stepped onto a Broadway stage in Lincoln Center to perform "Jane Eyre" as part of a professional ensemble. It’s the third year Salve students, led by theatre arts program coordinator Dr. Tara Brooke Watkins, have been invited to take part in Manhattan Concert Productions’ Broadway series.
While in New York City, the Salve troupe had an opportunity to take in some of the iconic sights and sounds, and shared a photo diary of their experience.
Here are our lanyards and backstage passes for the performance.
