Graduate Studies and Continuing Education
Our graduate and continuing education offerings include 13 master's degree programs with options for concentrations, a doctoral program in humanities and the Doctor of Nursing Practice, along with a bachelor's degree in nursing for licensed registered nurses. Many programs also provide options for four-course graduate certificates.
Our programs feature small classes led by faculty with real-world experience and the opportunity to take courses on campus in Newport, at the Center for Adult Education in Warwick or online. Each program provides unique and individualized opportunities for personal growth, interaction with experienced faculty members and ethical development.
Programs are available in a variety of formats, including classroom-based semester-long courses, compressed seven-week courses and hybrid courses that combine online learning with the classroom experience.

Applied Behavior Analysis
Originally known as a treatment for children with autism, applied behavior analysis is one of the fastest-growing professional areas in psychology. Our applied behavior analysis programs produce professionals who are ready to enter a robust workforce and fill the need for board-certified behavior analysts in a variety of settings.
Catholic School Leadership
Our four-course certificate in Catholic school leadership is a one-year program for Catholic school leaders and those who aspire to become one. Coursework addresses the four major benchmarks identified in the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools: mission and Catholic identity, academic excellence, governance and leadership, and operational vitality.
