Department of Political Science and International Relations
The Department of Political Science and International Relations provides essential knowledge of systems of democracy and dictatorship, legislation and constitutional law, and the origins of war and peace.
Our undergraduate program covers the full range of political science subfields - American politics, comparative politics, international relations and political theory. Our graduate program prepares students to be constructively critical of their immediate and broader political environment, whether in the workplace or simply as citizens of their country and the world.
We also offer an accelerated program that enables qualified Salve undergraduates to begin our master's degree in international relations in their senior (fourth) year.
