Fall Course Registration

Class of 2026

In early May, students will receive an email invitation to join Canvas, an online platform that facilitates the course registration process and prepares students for their first year on campus. Students are also assigned a summer advisor, who will assist with fall course registration.

Students should complete their Canvas checklist by June 2. Once the checklist is completed, students may schedule a virtual one-on-one session with their summer advisor.

Advising and registration sessions will be scheduled as early as June 6 and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. These sessions allow students to reflect on their interests and goals and to build an academic foundation for their future.

Students will also receive invitations to virtual advising workshops with the Office of Academic Advising. These group sessions are open to students and families, and will prepare students to register during their one-on-one session with their summer advisor.

Language Placement Exam

Salve Regina uses an online exam to determine language placement for students who took French, Italian or Spanish in high school. Students will have opportunities to complete the language placement exam beginning May 19. Students who complete the exam will receive a language placement that is valid for their entire academic career at Salve Regina.

The language placement exam is mandatory for students who studied French, Italian or Spanish in high school. Students who do not take the exam will be unable to study that language at Salve Regina and will need to choose a different language to fulfill core requirements.
