A key partner to the Salve Compass program, we work with students to design a meaningful college experience and foster academic, personal and professional development.

Resources for Students
Explore the many tools and resources we offer to help you navigate Salve, maximize your time here and strengthen your networks.
Resources for Alumni
Our alumni have lifetime access to career resources through Handshake, a leading career network connecting college students with a wide variety of employers. You can make an appointment with a career coach and access entry-level job opportunities, on- and off-campus recruiting events across different industries, a resource library with how-two guides and more.
There are many opportunities for alumni to share their professional experience and advice with current students through:
- Sophomore Studio: A one-credit conference-style course that gives students a foundation in networking, interviewing, internship searching, LinkedIn optimization and more. Alumni can participate in breakout sessions designed around career readiness and skill development, and/or one-on-one or small group networking/feedback sessions with students.
- Junior Studio: Alumni are invited to share internships or experiential learning opportunities for students through Handshake.
Resources for Employers
Strong partnerships with employers and community partners are critical to preparing students for the opportunities and challenges they'll face as they enter the workforce, and we're always looking to connect employers with students in meaningful, intentional ways. Here are some ways you can get involved:
- Sophomore Studio: Participate in workshops designed around career readiness and skill development and/or in one-on-one and small group conversations with students.
- Junior Studio: Participate in panels and workshops and/or provide internships and hands-on learning opportunities.
- Employer visibility: If you'd like our students to learn more about your organization, connect with us to leverage spotlights on our social media platforms and/or share available employment, internship and recruiting opportunities through Salve's job and internship portal, Handshake.
Resources for Families
Welcome, Salve families! Our team is happy to walk alongside your student during their time here. We're home to first-year academic advisors, the exploratory program and career coaches. We are also the hub for connecting employer partners to campus and creating opportunities for students to tap into the tremendous power and warmth of the Salve alumni network.
We work with your students individually and in groups. Salve has structured the student experience so that our team is integrated into their journey. Students may certainly seek us out for additional support, but by simply being a Salve student, they have built-in opportunities and classes that engage them directly and intentionally with our team.
