What's My Why?

Teaching at Salve allows me to share my knowledge and experiences with future practitioners. It provides me with the ability to review current trends and insights, while the class interactions help me learn from our future leaders. Our class explores organized criminal organizations from a historical and international perspective. We analyze history to understand why these groups developed, thrived and the investigative methods used by law enforcement to prosecute and dismantle them.

Media Coverage

I am WPRI-TV's law enforcement analyst. I provide expertise on a wide variety of topics, such as active shooters, crime scenes, use of force, terrorist events, trends, etc.

I have been quoted by the Boston Globe, Providence Journal, NBC Nightly News and several other media outlets, and I am a fill-in host at WPRO 630 AM. I am also writing a book on undercover operations based on a six-year role as an undercover operative for the Rhode Island State Police, where I infiltrated the New England mafia.
