What's My Why?

Arriving at Salve in 2003 after trying out positions in New York City in non-profit housing, cultural heritage, internet and media, and political consulting, I found my professional calling at McKillop Library. My day-to-day work centers students, the Mercy mission, and the core principles of librarianship. You'll find me teaching information literacy workshops for classes in the humanities and social sciences, helping undergrads through doctoral students with research questions, participating in our busy library event program, and supporting our talented library team as they build and guide students to use our superb collections, teach information literacy skills, and showcase research produced at Salve through our digital scholarship and events programs.

Professional Experience

In addition to my role at Salve I serve on the board of the Rhode Island Center for the Book and as secretary for the HELIN library consortium.
