What’s My Why?
My background experience includes science policy, international relations and community engagement and I enjoy working with prospective students from beyond New England to guide them through the admissions process.
My career highlights include legislative research for the U.S. House Committee on Science, supporting the National Academy of Sciences, and fostering U.S.-Italy business relations at the U.S. Commercial Service in Naples, Italy. I am fluent in Italian and continue to embrace the language and culture.
After stepping back from my professional career to raise my children and support my husband through multiple military relocations, I joined the admissions team in 2023 after my youngest child’s high school graduation. Having personally navigated new communities and the college process with my family, I am passionate about helping students find their sense of belonging and purpose at Salve and in Newport.
