Listening Hour Request

Please use this form to request a listening hour from someone on the Commission on Mercy Culture.

This hour should be requested when you have experienced concerns regarding issues of equity and belonging on campus that do not already have assigned procedures and protocols. (Grade concerns, harassment, faculty or staff complaints should refer to the student, staff or faculty handbook for respective appropriate procedures.) All safety issues should be addressed with Public Safety and/or be reported through a CARE report.

Form submissions will be sent to the commission chair and the requested person or identity will reach out to you to schedule a time to meet. You may choose the meeting location. The hour will be determined by both you and your commission listener. This meeting is not a guarantee of an immediate solution, but rather an agreement that what you share will be brought back (anonymously) to the commission for group discussion about how best to respond as a campus. Responses may include trainings for staff and faculty, campus-wide community conversations, announcements at faculty assembly meetings, one-on-one conversations or more.
