First-Year Residence Halls
Salve Regina University's first-year residence halls provide an inclusive and welcoming transition to life on campus.
Within these walls, our newest undergraduates find opportunities for personal, social and spiritual growth through a living environment that enhances academic success and fosters positive student connections.
Students residing on campus can easily access downtown Newport on foot or via public transportation. Steeped in history, diversity and religious tolerance, today's Newport is a tourist mecca, with shops, restaurants, museums, galleries and sporting events permeating this "city by the sea."
Miley Hall
Miley Hall houses students primarily in double, corridor-style rooms. A limited number of triples and quints (five-person rooms) are also available. Miley is co-ed by floor, with males living on the first floor and females on the second and third floors. Each floor has two communal bathrooms.
Reefe Hall
Reefe Hall offers three-person (triple), four-person (quad) and five-person (quint) rooms, all with private bathrooms. Modern in design and centrally located near major academic buildings, Reefe is co-ed by room, featuring both male and female rooms throughout all three floors of the building.
Walgreen Hall
Walgreen Hall houses students in suite-style living arrangements. Each suite accommodates 8-11 students in singles, doubles, triples, quads and quints (five-person rooms). Walgreen is co-ed, with male and female suites scattered throughout each floor. Each four-room suite has a private bathroom.
