Upcoming Exhibition: Best of Salve Students
The Best of Salve Students (BOSS) Show is annual survey of outstanding student artwork drawn from the full spectrum of visual art courses taught on campus. The juried exhibition showcases creative achievement at all studio levels, in a wide variety of media. Scheduled for Sept. 17 to Oct. 7, this year’s show will feature a range of artwork from both art majors and non-art majors in the areas of photography, painting, drawing, illustration, ceramics, graphic design and sculpture.
Student Work
Our students have regular opportunities to show their work in the Hamilton Gallery, including the annual exhibitions Best of Salve Students (BOSS) and Juried Senior Show.
Past Exhibitions on Flickr
Our Flickr gallery offers a visual archive of nearly 20 years of Hamilton Gallery exhibitions. The collection features diverse artistic expressions and highlights the exceptional work featured in the gallery over the years.
Academic Programs
Depending on their talents and interests, our students major in either art history or studio art. Art history majors explore visual and material culture as forms of communication, while studio art majors customize their study of the visual arts through concentrations in ceramics, graphic design, illustration, interactive media arts, painting and photography.
