Salve Regina has announced that Dr. Kelli J. Armstrong will become the institution’s eighth president in July 2019. Armstrong will become the Catholic institution’s first president who is not a Religious Sister of Mercy.

Dr. Jon Marcoux, associate professor and coordinator of the Noreen Stonor Drexel Cultural and Historic Preservation Program, has received the Southwestern Archaeological Conference’s Patty Jo Watson Award for best article or book chapter on southeastern archaeology.

Ashley Cody ’20 was recently named a 2018 all-American for field hockey by Synapse Sports. Cody enjoyed a career year, setting program records for the Seahawks in goals (36), points (83) and a program-tying five-goal effort during a victory at Johnson & Wales University.
