Division III athletics provide students the opportunity to pursue their sport while prioritizing their studies. We offer 20 varsity teams, including baseball, basketball, cross country, equestrian, hockey, lacrosse, sailing, soccer and tennis.

As Salve Regina's first recipient of the Boren Award, Regan studied in Jordan, where he took coursework in intensive Arabic and taught English to Syrian refugees. "I hope to further promote Salve's mercy mission by focusing on disadvantaged populations worldwide, those who really don't have the resources, and provide them with literacy skills so they can grow and have opportunities to receive an education and join the workforce."

Salve’s baseball team advances to NCAA DIII College World Series for first time in program history

Salve Regina’s baseball team has advanced to the NCAA DIII College World Series for the first time in program history. The team advanced on May 25 after defeating the Salisbury University Sea Gulls 14-12 in game two of the best-of-three Super Regional.

Salve 74th commencement

2024 Salve grads urged to embrace the unexpected at 74th Commencement

On May 19 at Salve Regina’s oceanside campus, Dr. Kelli J. Armstrong, president, conferred 530 bachelor’s degrees upon the Class of 2024. A separate ceremony was held Thursday, May 16, for recipients of graduate degrees — with 271 master’s degrees, 19 doctoral degrees and three Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees.

Salve Regina awarded 19 Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and three Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees during the graduate Commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 16. These included students in the humanities, international relations and nursing programs.
