What's My Why?

Having graduated from Salve's nursing program, I believe my students’ success is also my success. I have been in their shoes, I know how rigorous our nursing program is, but I also know the demands that a career in nursing entails. It is not for the faint of heart. Teaching clinical full time, I enjoy helping my students acclimate to various clinical settings and develop the hands-on skills they will take with them wherever they decide to work in the future. I am also very proud of the mercy mission here at Salve. I believe the corporal and spiritual works of mercy are directly connected to everything I do as a nurse when caring for patients (and my students.) It is a dream come true to be back at my alma mater teaching clinical full time. I absolutely love working with our nursing students. 

Professional Experience

I have primarily worked in pediatric clinical settings; both inpatient and in the emergency department. I have also worked in labor delivery and postpartum care units. Finally, I have some experience in adult medical surgical nursing.
