Application Process
Exchange Students
There are two steps to the application process. You must first apply through your home institution and be nominated to participate in the exchange. Next, you must apply to Salve Regina through ViaTRM, our online application tool.
How to Apply Through ViaTRM
- Visit the ViaTRM login page and create an account.
- Complete the initial intake questions.
- Click "Cancel" in the top right corner of the question about program match.
- Click "Profile" in the top left corner.
- Go to the "Traveler Info" tab, fill it out completely and save. This will make the application process easier and ensure all relevant information is entered. It is very important to complete this step prior to starting an application.
- Click on "Programs" in the top left corner and search for "Study at Salve Regina University."
- Once you are ready to apply, go into the program and select the term you are applying for to complete the application.

- Proof of English language ability
- Official transcript
- One passport-size photo
- Electronic health record
- Course selection form
Application Deadlines
- April 1: Fall semester or full academic year
- Nov. 1: Spring semester
Your home institution may have different application deadlines, so please consult with them about these dates. Applications will not be finalized until we receive an email from your home institution that nominates you for the exchange.
