I joined the Rhode Island State Police in 2004 and am currently assigned to the computer crimes unit as a first-line supervisor. The computer crimes unit is comprised of the Internet crimes against children task force, which is responsible for investigating child exploitation and human trafficking facilitated over the Internet, and the joint cyber task force, which is responsible for responding to cyber disruptions caused by natural hazards, widespread viruses or cyber attacks. I am also a member of the Rhode Island Sex Offender Board of Review, whose responsibilities include determining the sexual violent predator status and community level notification of convicted sex offenders, and am cross-designated as a task force officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. I hold several industry-recognized certifications related to computers and cybersecurity.
