Personal Statement:
I have taught at Central State University, Providence College and James Madison University, and was a visiting scholar in the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. I am deputy director of Joint Civil-Military Interaction, a research and education network, and have published a number of articles on Africa. I speak French, English and Swahili.
