As vice president for mission integration, I seek to serve as a mission catalyst and bridge-builder, partnering with students, faculty, staff, administrators, community partners, board members and alumni to collaboratively advance Salve’s mercy mission in service to the needs of our world. Before coming to Salve, I served for 12 years at Santa Clara University, directing the Bannan Institute in the Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education, developing academic, public and pastoral offerings to engage the university and larger community around issues of contemporary religious, cultural and theological significance. I also served on the board of the Silicon Valley Interreligious Council and as co-chair for the Mission and Identity Conference of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. I now serve on the planning committee for the 2019 Mission Conference of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities and on the Mission Council for the Conference for Mercy Higher Education. My own vocational commitments have been enlivened by the charism of mercy and I am privileged to partner with all at Salve to build a more harmonious, just and merciful world through our classrooms, campus and community.
