Personal Statement:

When I started college, I knew I wanted to pursue a career centered around human services. I initially wanted to become a child life specialist, but about halfway through my college years, I decided that working in a community agency that supports low-income families might be a better fit for me. While researching information about these career paths, I became involved in various leadership roles at my college where I was mentoring students academically and socially. These experiences helped me realize that I wanted to continue working with students in a higher education setting, and this led me to my current role as a Compass advisor here at Salve Regina.
