Personal Statement:
I grew up in southeastern Connecticut and attended Eastern Connecticut State University, where I majored in communication/video production and minored in studio art. I also earned a master's degree from the University of Rhode Island's college student personnel program. There, I further developed my passion for diversity, equity and inclusion. I did my graduate assistantship at the URI Women's Center and completed internships in the Career Services Office at the Community College of Rhode Island, Gender and Sexuality Center at URI and Office of Campus Life at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. As a queer person, I have a passion for supporting LGBTQIA2S+ people with an intersectional lens.
