Personal Statement:

I am assistant professor of political science and director of the Latin American and Caribbean studies program at Stonehill College. I have also taught at Franklin Pierce University, Catholic University of America, Hawaii Pacific University and at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. My research focuses on comparative constitutional politics and political economy. I have published articles on politics in Brazil, the European Union, France, Germany and Italy, and am currently working on a project that compares democracies in the Western hemisphere.
