Scholarship for Syrian and International Students Impacted by International Crises
As part of the Institute of International Education's Platform for Education in Emergencies Response, Salve Regina awards one full tuition scholarship annually to a student whose education has been interrupted or impacted by the crisis in Syria or other international crises. The University also offers a range of partial merit scholarships to eligible students.
The scholarship is only available to applicants who wish to receive a bachelor's degree, and students will need to meet eligibility requirements for undergraduate admission. Students interested in competing for the scholarship may apply using the PDF form or the Common Application. Students applying through the PDF form should ensure they have supplied all attachments, including the personal essay.
Students who have applied to Salve Regina through the Common Application should email Erin FitzGerald at email@example.com to ensure their application is included for consideration. Applicants should attach to the email a short essay describing why they feel they are the best candidate for this scholarship and explaining how their education has been interrupted or impacted by the crisis in Syria or other international crises. Applicants should also discuss how receiving the scholarship will impact their academic, personal and professional goals.
