Our four-course Certificate of Graduate Studies (CGS) programs are designed for students looking for continued professional development without the formal pursuit of a master’s degree. Our certificate programs in health care administration and management provide students the opportunity to enhance their health care careers and expand their employment options.
Our certificate in cybersecurity and health care administration covers health care and the increased risk of cybersecurity threats, cybersecurity risk management practices and digital health innovation. Coursework explores the laws and regulations pertaining to electronic health records and teaches the leadership, governance and expectations for health care cybersecurity.
Student pursuing a certificate in health care administration and management customize their curriculum by selecting courses from the graduate program in health care administration and management’s core curriculum. Specific courses are selected with guidance and approval from the program director.
Both certificates may be completed entirely online, although courses are also offered at our Newport campus and in a hybrid classroom/online format.
