Fall Course Registration
Class of 2029
Fall course registration and summer advising consists of three steps.
Step 1: Complete the self-guided module in the Compass advising and course registration hub.
- You'll receive an email invitation to join Canvas, Salve Regina's learning management system. You'll use Canvas to access the advising and registration hub and complete your self-guided module.
- You'll also be invited to a virtual information session to review the registration process and submit questions to the Compass advising team.
- Exploratory/undeclared students will book an introductory meeting with their Compass advisor to prepare for registration and explore their interests.
Step 2: Register for fall courses.
- On your assigned registration date, you'll register for your first 12 credits. Guidance for course selection will be available through the advising and registration hub.
- Important note: If you wish to enroll in a six-month payment plan, it's recommended that you complete the self-guided module and register for courses by June 18.
Step 3: Schedule a Compass advising meeting to complete your fall schedule.
- You'll schedule a Compass advising meeting over the summer. During the introductory meeting, you'll finalize your fall course schedule and receive individualized support as you prepare for your first semester.
Compass Advising
Upon entering the University, you're assigned a Compass advisor to assist in navigating your first year in college and aligning your educational experience with personal, academic and career goals. Compass advisors also connect you with resources and services available throughout campus.
International students and students who declare a pre-health or pre-law track will also have a supplemental advisor.
Questions? Many of your questions will be answered in the Canvas module. If you have additional questions, email compasscenter@salve.edu using your salve.edu address. Our offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET Monday-Friday.
How Your Schedule Impacts Your Bill
Course registration generates your fall bill. If you wish to enroll in the six-month payment plan, it's recommended that you complete the self-guided module and register for courses by June 18 to have your bill processed in time for the first payment. Contact the Business Office at businessoffice@salve.edu or (401) 341-2900 with any questions about your fall bill.
