Due to recent weather events and corresponding power outages across New England and beyond, Salve Regina is extending its Nov. 1 Early Action deadline to Nov. 15. Supporting materials are now due by Nov. 22. We want to provide every student who wishes the opportunity to apply under the Early Action program, and also remind those applying to our nursing program that they must submit under Early Action. Please contact us at admissions@salve.edu or (401) 341-2908 with any questions.

A diverse range of academic programs. A distinctive coastal setting. A welcoming campus community. Our defining characteristics make Salve a place you’ll want to call home for the next four years.

We look forward to working with you throughout the application process, and we are always available to answer any questions you may have. To connect with your admissions counselor, visit our Meet Your Counselor page.

First-Year Applicants

We evaluate all of our applicants in a holistic manner, taking into account academic preparation, interests and involvement. We are looking for students who will contribute to our campus community, grow as individuals and be successful at Salve.

Transfer Applicants

You are considered a transfer student if you enrolled in any college or university courses after graduating from high school. Each year, approximately 10 percent of our new incoming students have transferred from another college or university.

International Applicants

You are considered an international student if you do not have U.S. citizenship, a U.S. passport or U.S. permanent residency status (resident alien) and need an F-1 student visa. Our international student community also includes U.S. citizens living overseas.

Deadlines for first-year applicants:

Fall (September) admission

Nov. 1 - Early Action (non-binding). Required for all nursing applicants.

Feb. 1 - Regular decision.

Spring (January) admission

Dec. 1 - Priority deadline.

Applications are accepted on a rolling, space-available basis after each deadline.
