NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina’s office of international studies, in conjunction with the Spouting Rock Beach Association, will present a summer lecture series in July designed to introduce international students to topics of interest in American society.
Speakers drawn from the Salve Regina University faculty will present talks based on their academic specialties and engage in discussions about American identity and America’s role on the global stage.
All lectures, free and open to the public, begin at 7 p.m. in the DiStefano Lecture Hall, located in the university’s Antone Academic Center on Lawrence Avenue. Following is the lecture schedule:
