Fundraising Events

Throughout the year, Salve Regina’s supporters are invited to enjoy fundraising events that directly benefit students. From dancing at the annual December gala to sipping wine at the biennial tasting and auction to enjoying a round of golf at the historic Newport Country Club, the University’s fundraising events provide essential support for student scholarships.

Governor's Ball

The Governor’s Ball, a black-tie event attended by local business leaders, alumni, parents and friends, has a longstanding tradition of raising money for student scholarships. Held annually in December, the ball showcases historic Ochre Court as it is transformed for the holidays.

Wine Tasting and Auction

Celebrated biennially, the Wine Tasting and Auction offers silent and live auction items and features well-known vineyards from throughout the region and beyond. Attended by alumni, parents and friends, there’s something for every bidder and a wine for every palate.

Golf Tournament

For more than 20 years, both corporate and individual golfers have gathered for the annual tournament, held at the exclusive Newport Country Club.
