Spiritual Resources

Virtual Salve

This page provides virtual resources for prayer, reflection, liturgy, retreats and pastoral care during this time of remote learning. As a mercy institution, we seek to respond to the needs of our community by meeting people where they are today.

Mercy Reflections

Check SALVEtoday on Mondays and Wednesdays for prayer and reflection, and follow the Office of Mission Integration's Facebook page for daily moments of prayer and reflection.

Daily Mass and Scripture Readings

Daily Mass is available online from the Diocese of Providence.

Daily readings for Mass are available online from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Magnificat has made their online resources free during this time to aid in daily prayer.

Sacred Space offers a daily prayer resource from the Irish Jesuits.

Weekly Homilies

Follow the Mercy Center for Spiritual Life's Facebook page for a weekly homily from Father Ray Malm, Salve Regina chaplain.

Regional Online Religious Services

This list of local houses of worship providing online streaming services is provided for your convenience during this time of social distancing. We have tried to be inclusive in our listing of local online options; this listing does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation.

Community Prayer Service and Prayer Petitions

During these challenging times, we seek to hold our local, University and global communities in prayer. Please share any prayer petitions you have and we will hold these in prayer each week as a community. Check back for links to community prayer services for Salve Regina. Prayer petitions may be emailed to mercycenter@salve.edu.

Virtual Office Hours

Mercy Center staff are available each day to connect with students, faculty and staff in need of pastoral support or just a friendly face.
