Personal Statement:

I am an adjunct professor teaching Law and Human Behavior and Exploring Serial Murder at Salve Regina. I am also an associate professor of psychology and behavioral science in the College of Leadership and Ethics at the United States Naval War College, focusing on the areas of well-being, resilience and mindfulness as they relate to leader development. I also volunteer as the Rhode Island state director for the Veterans Yoga Project and am a certified positive psychology-based health and well-being coach. Prior to joining the Naval War College in 2021, I worked for more than 15 years in the area of criminal psychology. I have conducted research for the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit and NCIS Criminal Threat Division, and was a regional team lead for Facebook's Global Security Intelligence and Investigations team focusing on terrorism and dangerous organizations.
