Stagefright players present Neil Simon’s ‘Fools’ Feb. 27-March 1

Stagefright, Salve Regina’s student-run theatre organization, will be presenting Neil Simon’s play “Fools” Feb. 27 through March 1 at the Megley Blackbox Theatre located in Antone Academic Center.

Show times are 7 p.m. Feb. 27-28 and 2 p.m. March 1. Tickets are available for purchase at the door.

Set in the town of Kulyenchikov in the late 19th century, “Fools” follows school teacher Leon Tolchinsky in his attempts to rid the citizens of their curse of stupidity.

This production serves as Jen Sartanowicz’s ‘16 directing debut. Fools also features the talents of Kenny Benell ’18, Maria Smith ’16, Lea Capanzano ’18, Jake Fernandes ’17, Collin Travassos ’18, Megan Gallo ’16, Dominick Torro ’16, Savannah Repucci ’16, Alexandra D’Agostino ’17, and Malya Kettavong ’18.
