May 28 - To summer student employees: Mask guidance for summer student employees

Dear summer student employees,

Effective immediately, masks and social distancing are no longer required while indoors or outdoors on campus if you are fully vaccinated. You are considered fully vaccinated if you have received both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine and more than 14 days have passed since your final dose.

If you are not fully vaccinated, you must continue to wear a mask indoors and within three feet of others outdoors, and practice social distancing around others. You will also be required to participate in weekly surveillance testing.

You are strongly encouraged to receive the COVID-19 vaccine if you haven’t done so already. Vaccinations are essential to maintaining a healthy campus environment.

If You are Fully Vaccinated

If you are fully vaccinated, you must submit your vaccine record to Health Services through the health portal. To submit your vaccine record, log in to the health portal with your Salve Regina credentials. In the “My Forms” menu at the top of the page, select and complete the “COVID vaccination form.” If you do not provide proof of vaccination, or if you are not fully vaccinated, you will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing until your vaccination record is received.

Access to Campus Buildings

Summer student employees are required to carry their Salve Regina ID at all times while on campus. The Salve Regina ID is needed for card swipe or chip access to all campus buildings, with two exceptions: the Miley Hall garden level entrance for bookstore access and the Ochre Court main entrance for admissions tours.
