Off-Campus and Online Initiatives

Please contact Tasha Estrella at (401) 341-2119 or tasha.estrella@salve.edu with any questions related to the initiatives outlined below.

Rhode Island Higher Education Training Consortium

Through Salve Regina's membership in the Rhode Island Higher Education Training Consortium, employees have access to low-cost, workshop-style professional development opportunities facilitated by subject matter experts. Each semester, the consortium offers eight to 12 events, some of which are specific to manager/supervisor development.

To access current program offerings, visit the consortium's website and select "Professional Development Workshops," or view the HR newsletter.

Employees should consult with their manager/supervisor for approval to attend. Registration fees are typically paid through the department's professional development budget. Fees include parking and breakfast, and full-day events also include lunch.
