Healthcare is a rapidly changing industry with a constant demand for innovative and dynamic professionals. Our master’s degree in healthcare administration prepares motivated individuals for management positions in hospitals, health systems, mental health facilities, physician practices, and government and non-government agencies.
Our curriculum is designed so that students can tailor the program to meet their educational, professional and personal goals. Courses are taught by respected professionals who blend theoretical foundations with personal experiences from their areas of health care management expertise, all while respecting the University’s commitment to the mercy tradition.
Accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education, our program explores the latest trends and instructs students on how to develop the professional competencies expected by top health care organizations. While this degree may be completed entirely online, select courses are offered at our Newport campus and in a hybrid classroom/online format.

Nicole Paliotti '19 (M) recently left a six-figure job in marketing and sales and completely changed her career path to work in health care at South County Health in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. It's a decision that has ultimately been one of the most rewarding journeys she's ever taken both personally and professionally – and one that Salve Regina helped her achieve through its graduate program in health care administration.
I'm basically rebuilding my career, but it's something I feel passionate about. And I actually love getting up and going to work every day.
