Dr. Paul Medeiros, adjunct professor in the Department of Philosophy, will open his course Quest for the Good Life to the wider campus and local community as part of the MLK Week teach-in for justice and mercy. MLK’s sermons and letters claim the philosopher Socrates exemplifies peaceful activism. Learn about the virtue justice as explained and demonstrated by Socrates before the court of ancient Athens and explore what justice has to do with the unusual life of philosophers.
