Dr. Jim Ludes, executive director of the Pell Center, will lead a discussion on the Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election and the most up-to-date facts surrounding this investigation. Topics will include Russian advertisement on Facebook and other social media platforms; how to expose the activities of bots, trolls and other foreign actors; the role of the press/media; and what type of regulations may be needed going forward.

Sponsored by the Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy, roundtable discussions are open to Salve Regina students, faculty and staff. The Pell Center provides a free lunch. As space is limited, those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to pellcenter@salve.edu.
