"Self and Sensibility: Women and Decorative Arts in the Age of Jane Austen and Emily Dickinson" is an exhibition of works from the 18th and 19th centuries. It features nearly 50 pieces on loan from a private collection in Newport, including a range of decorative arts such as objects made from porcelain, silver, glass and textiles. Highlights include a collection of dolls, figurines, vases, needlework, antique sewing supplies and objets d’art.
Due to public health concerns and restrictions on travel, this exhibition is open exclusively to the Salve Regina community. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday.
