Dr. Aurelian Craiutu is professor of political science at Indiana University Bloomington, where he also directs the Tocqueville Program. He has published extensively in the field of modern French political thought from Montesquieu to Raymond Aron. In his lecture, Craiutu will revisit lessons from the Founding Fathers, with special emphasis on George Washington's farewell address.
