Seven seniors who are majoring in American studies and history are scheduled to present and defend their theses over a two-day period. Members of the Salve Regina community and the general public are invited to attend, and may stay for any length of time.

Today's presenters are:

  • 8:30 a.m. - Jennifer Page: "The Forgotten Sins of Robert E. Lee: How a Confederate Icon Became an American Icon"
  • 9:15 a.m. - Karina Rapoza: "A Little Rebellion Now and Then: Thomas Jefferson’s Influence on Lafayette and the Declaration of the Rights of Man"
  • 10 a.m. - Vigen Ciottone: "My Brother’s Keeper: Robert Kennedy’s Role in the Cuban Missile Crisis"
