An electronic portfolio with social networking features, Portfolium allows students to create an organized, visual documentation of their academic, co-curricular and professional stories and work. The Center for Student Development works with offices and departments across campus to help students develop their digital portfolio.
With Portfolium, students can:
- Upload work samples – including presentations, papers and projects – to showcase their curricular and co-curricular learning, skills and accomplishments.
- Connect with fellow classmates and alumni, as well as students from other universities.
- Continue to access their Portfolium profile after graduation.
- Share their portfolio with peers, faculty, future employers, graduate programs and other outlets.
Students receive an invitation to join Portfolium, which is sent to their Salve Regina email address. To ensure that their profile is connected to the Salve Regina network, students should follow the link in the email to create their account. Students may contact the Center for Student Development with any questions regarding Portfolium.
The Center for Student Development periodically hosts Portfolium challenges during the academic year. As part of these challenges, students are invited to submit entries displaying their best project, research, presentation, leadership experience or other work, with prizes awarded to the winners.
