Vendor and Visitor Screening Policy

During the course of operations, Salve Regina welcomes numerous visitors to campus, including guest speakers, vendors, delivery personnel and consultants. In the interest of community health and safety, the University has developed a policy to properly screen all campus visitors and vendors. All University offices are required to abide by this policy, with no exceptions.

Salve Regina recognizes that campus operations often require faculty and staff to meet with vendors, visitors, clients and consultants. While it is recommended and preferred that meetings be conducted via WebEx or Zoom whenever possible, in-person meetings are permitted. All visitors must be properly screened, issued a health screening pass and wear a mask or face coverings.

All scheduled and unscheduled campus visitors are required to check in with the respective University office prior to entering any campus building. Visitors may check in via email, phone, pre-determined meeting or knocking at an exterior door. Visitors should remain outside until a University employee can greet them with the necessary health screening form and pass.

Conferences, Events and Weddings

The University has canceled all events through Dec. 31. The status of events scheduled after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Should your event need to be canceled, you will be notified by the Office of Conferences and Events. If you are interested in holding a photo shoot exclusively outdoors on the grounds of campus between now and Dec. 31, please contact Johanna Mancivalano at (401) 341-2460 or johanna.mancivalano@salve.edu.

Campus Tours

Salve Regina is excited to once again welcome prospective students and families to campus. Led by student ambassadors, campus tours are available to one family each (limit of four guests, including infants and children) and require a reservation at least 24 hours in advance of the desired visit date.

Visitors will be asked to follow health and safety protocols that adhere to state of Rhode Island guidance and CDC recommendations. Visitors will also be asked to complete a health form screening 24 hours prior to their visit.
