Athletics
Division III athletics provide students the opportunity to pursue their sport while prioritizing their studies. We offer 20 varsity teams, including baseball, basketball, cross country, equestrian, hockey, lacrosse, sailing, soccer and tennis.

As the global head of social media at Nasdaq, Murray is responsible for designing and overseeing implementation of enterprise social media strategy, ensuring it aligns with the brand's vision and voice. "There were people who helped me at Salve – find my voice, find my vision, find my passion, find my purpose. And it's my goal to do the same for the next generation of women and Salve graduates."
Daniel Regan '17

As Salve Regina's first recipient of the Boren Award, Regan studied in Jordan, where he took coursework in intensive Arabic and taught English to Syrian refugees. "I hope to further promote Salve's mercy mission by focusing on disadvantaged populations worldwide, those who really don't have the resources, and provide them with literacy skills so they can grow and have opportunities to receive an education and join the workforce."
The elephants are coming to Salve
Salve will host a herd of life-size Indian elephant sculptures on campus as part of an extraordinary Cliff Walk experience from Thursday, July 4, through Saturday, Sept. 7. The project, The Great Elephant Migration (GEM), is a traveling public art exhibition and global fundraising initiative to inspire humans to share space.
Salve student Jacob Stolberg honored as Newman Civic Fellow
Jacob Stolberg ’26, a double major in secondary education and mathematics, has been named to the 2024-25 cohort of Newman Civic Fellows by Campus Compact, a national coalition of colleges and universities working to advance the public purposes of higher education.
Salve’s new master’s program addressed shortage of mental health practitioners
Salve is expanding its online master of science in nursing (MSN) degree program to offer a new specialization in psychiatric mental health, a comprehensive educational pathway to national certification. A post-master’s certificate for advanced practice nurses seeking to expand their services in psychiatric nursing.
