- SAT/ACT scores (our CEEB code is 3759). Please note that scores are optional unless you are applying as a nursing or education major.
- Home-schooled applicants must submit a copy of all course descriptions and a portfolio of work. Home-schooled applicants are required to submit SAT or ACT scores.
ACT test-takers: If you are experiencing difficulty with the ACT, send a copy of the email from ACT indicating you were an impacted student along with a screenshot of your September multiple-choice scores. If you need assistance, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (888) GO-SALVE.
Applications must be complete in order to be reviewed. If you receive a missing items postcard, please check to see that the items have been sent. Remember that items sent by your school may have crossed in the mail with our processing. As long as missing items are received with a postmark date prior to the deadline, your application will be reviewed.
Accepted students must submit their enrollment deposit by May 1. Accepted students will also be invited to our spring event, Connections Day, to assist in the college selection process. If you are planning to apply for financial aid, you must file all financial aid forms by March 1.
Applicants placed on the wait list will be notified of their status no earlier than May 1 and no later than June 30. Students must return the wait list response form to hold their place on the wait list.
Unfortunately, we receive many more applications than there are spaces in the entering class. Students who are not accepted are welcome to reapply the following year after a successful year at another college. Please refer to our policies and procedures on reapplying as a transfer student.
If you applied under the Early Action plan and received a letter stating that your application was deferred, this means that your application will be re-reviewed within our regular decision applicant pool. Simply put, the admissions committee needs more information (about you as well as the applicant pool as a whole) before it can make a final decision on your application. You should arrange to have your guidance counselor send your mid-year grades as soon as they are available. Also, feel free to send any additional information that you think may strengthen your application. Applicants will receive a decision by April 1.
Accepted students may defer their enrollment for up to one year. Students wishing to defer must submit a request to defer admission form along with a non-refundable enrollment deposit. It is understood that students who defer their admission will not enroll in credit-bearing work at another college or university. Students who do not enroll at Salve Regina within one academic year and/or who attend another college or university during the academic year in which they have deferred must reapply for admission to Salve Regina. A student electing to defer enrollment must contact the Office of Financial Aid to determine filing requirements.
